dc.description.abstractLa Hipertensión Arterial es un grave problema de salud que afecta a un importante sector de la población. Se estima que el 25% de la población adulta padece Hipertensión Arterial Aguda, siendo un importante factor de riesgo cardiovascular. Esta Hipertensión tiene como objetivo relacionado el incremento en el control que debe presentar el paciente con respecto a 140/90 mm/hg en presión arterial, es decir no puede sobrepasar estos valores, mientras que el paciente que presenta diabetes no puede sobrepasar el rango 135/85 mm/hg. En la última década, se han publicado numerosos estudios sobre terapéutica antihipertensiva y la relación entre la morbimortalidad y la afectación renal. La mayoría de los pacientes que presenta esta patología se sitúa en el segmento comprendido de 55 años en adelante, siendo esta la limitante principal por desconocer pacientes que presenten HTA a temprana edad. Esta investigación se ha elaborado mediante estudios del perfil epidemiológico y caracterizaciones clínicas en pacientes que presentan crisis hipertensiva y que fueron ingresados en emergencia. Su lugar de estudio fue el Hospital de Especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón en el periodo comprendido del año 2015 al año 2016. La investigación empleada es de tipo descriptiva, longitudinal, retrospectiva y las técnicas de recolección de información que se utilizaron fueron la observación analítica de las variables propuestas y las entrevistas a pacientes.es_ES
dc.description.abstractHypertension is a serious health problem affecting an important sector of the population. It is estimated that 25% of the adult population suffers from Acute Arterial Hypertension, being an important cardiovascular risk factor. This hypertension has related objective the increase in the control that must present the patient with respect to 140/90 mm / hg in blood pressure, that is to say it cannot surpass these values, whereas the patient with diabetes cannot surpass the range 130 / 80 mm / hg. In the last decade, numerous studies on antihypertensive therapy and the relationship between morbimortality and renal involvement have been published. The majority of the patients presenting this pathology are located in the segment comprised 55 years and older, being this the main limitation because they are not aware of patients who present hypertension at an early age. This research has been elaborated through studies of the epidemiological profile and clinical characterizations in patients who present hypertensive crisis and who were admitted in emergency. His place of study was the Hospital of Specialties Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón in the period from the year 2015 to the year 2016. The research used is descriptive, longitudinal, retrospective and the techniques of information collection that were used were analytical observation of the variables proposed and the interviews to patientses_ES
