Necesidad de Nuevas Modalidades Contractuales en Materia Laboral

Resumen
Dentro del trabajo de investigación se menciona la necesidad de que se
implementan nuevas modalidades de contratación laboral en el Ecuador, una de
ellas, la modalidad de trabajo en casa o “home office”, la cual ha surgido a raíz del
teletrabajo; cabe recalcar que la pandemia de COVID-19 que azotó al mundo hace
muy pocos años ha impulsado nuevas medidas que antaño eran inconcebibles e
incluso imposibles de usar, en cuanto al trabajo desde casa se puede decir que
guarda similitudes con el teletrabajo pero con marcadas diferencias, la normativa
ecuatoriana no define al home office como tal, para lo cual se ha pretendido
reformar el Código del Trabajo a fin de que sea incorporado como una nueva
modalidad contractual, adaptada en gran parte a los tiempos modernos y las
tecnologías actuales.
