dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo, analizar la calidad de los servicios médicos del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social en la ciudad de Guayaquil en el periodo 2014 – 2017. Se realizó una revisión de Teorías de la Seguridad social y la Ley de Seguridad Social. Mediante el método cualitativo se determinó la calidad de servicio que reciben los beneficiarios del IESS en la ciudad de Guayaquil, ya que es una de las ciudades con mayor desarrollo respecto de las otras ciudades. Como resultado se obtuvo que la mayoría de las personas presentan un descontento por la manera en cómo reciben sus servicios de salud como consecuencia a las medidas tomadas por el Estado. Se recomiendan aplicar políticas rigurosas que establezca un apoyo conjunto con el Gobierno y realizar una modificación en la Ley de Seguridad social que permita fortalecer la Institución, para que continúe garantizando el Bienestar del beneficiario.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work was to analyze the quality of the medical services of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute in the city of Guayaquil in the period 2014 - 2017. A review of Social Security Theories and the Social Security Law was carried out. The qualitative method was used to determine the quality of service received by IESS beneficiaries in the city of Guayaquil, as it is one of the cities with the highest development compared to other cities. As a result, it was found that the majority of people are dissatisfied with the way in which they receive their health services as a consequence of the measures taken by the State. It is recommended to apply rigorous policies that establish joint support with the Government and make a modification in the Social Security Law that allows the Institution to be strengthened, so that it continues guaranteeing the Welfare of the beneficiary.es_ES
