parto.
Introduction: HPV is considered a main cause of cervical cancer, as well as neoplasms in the anogenital area. This virus has about 200 genotypes, of which between 15 and 19 are considered high risk based on their oncogenic potential. Objective: To determine the risk factors, complications, and gestational age of pregnant women with HPV treated at the IESS Ceibos Hospital during the period 2022-2023. Methodology: A study with a quantitative approach was carried out with a descriptive, analytical and retrospective design. Results: It was found that the human papillomavirus continues to be frequent in a sample of patients between 15-45 years old, giving the greatest risk factor infection through multiple sexual partners, there is no infertility relationship for patients who have been infected with HPV, and genital warts is the most common clinical manifestation of patients. Conclusions: It is concluded that among the age group with the highest frequency of contagion is between 20-29 years, for which we have this virus as one of great concern worldwide, in addition to its high incidence among those infected, for pregnant women due to on the other hand, there is no risk of complication for her delivery at a higher level. Treatments are recommended after delivery.
