dc.description.abstractEl cantón Durán en la actualidad se encuentra en estado de desarrollo, según datos del último censo del INEC del año 2010 la población es de 235.769 habitantes, por lo cual se presenta la demanda de diferentes servicios en cuanto a infraestructura de todo tipo, es donde crece la necesidad de atención especializada en cuanto al factor salud; aquí nace la propuesta de un Hospital del Día que cuenta con el aval de la Municipalidad del cantón, el cual ha brindado la respectiva información y documentación para el estudio del proyecto. El Hospital del Día contara con atención para consulta externa, laboratorio, centro de imagen y Diagnóstico, área de emergencia y cirugías ambulatorias con un área total de construcción de 4310.37 m²; según la Planificación Municipal se ha destinado un terreno de 16981.25m², ubicado en un sector Residencial llamado “Cooperativa Héroes Nacionales” al Norte del cantón. Con este Proyecto se busca satisfacer las necesidades de la población y así brindar un nuevo servicio con el cual al momento no cuenta el cantón por lo que muchas veces sus habitantes se ven obligados a buscar este tipo de atención en la ciudad más cercana que es la capital del Guayas.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe Duran canton is currently in developing , according to information proportioned for the INEC, about the last census in 2010, the total population is 235.769 people, therefore it is common the increment in the demand of different kinds of infrastructures, and specialized medical services; due to the reasons mentioned it is necessary the implementation of a “Hospital del Día” which is essentially an outpatient hospital, which will count with the endorsement of the canton’s municipality, which has taken part actively in this project, through the information and documentation offered for the developing of the present study. The outpatient hospital will offer different services such as outpatient care, laboratory, diagnostic and medical imaging center, emergency area, and outpatient surgery; the Municipal Planning Commission has allocated a plot of 16981.25 m², which is located in a residential area called “Cooperativa Héroes Nacionales" in the north of the canton. This project aim to satisfy the necessities of the population and give them a new service which is absent, and in consequence they have to look for that kind of medical attention in the nearest neighboring city which is Guayaquil, the capital of the Guayas province.es_ES
