| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación aborda el tema sobre odontología preventiva durante el embarazo, comprende desde la fecundación hasta la finalización de la gestación que dura aproximadamente cuarenta semanas, el cuidado dental durante la gestación requiere una atención especial, evaluando ciertos procedimientos odontológicos para de ese modo concordar con los trimestres dedicado a la maduración del embrión y no alterar a la organogénesis, los niveles elevado de las hormonas como el estrógeno y la progesterona son necesarios para el desarrollo fetal y la gonadotropina coriónica humana se asocia con náuseas y vómitos pudiendo provocar los trastornos de la cavidad oral y dental. Existen creencias que posponen la atención odontológica debido a las molestias que puede ocasionar el tratamiento dental. Se realizó con el objetivo de establecer los procedimientos de la odontología preventiva durante el embarazo e identificar las alteraciones bucales que se puedan presentar en las etapas de gestación. El tipo de investigación utilizado fue cualitativo, descriptivo y transversal de artículos con actualización científica y diferentes fuentes bibliográficas dentro de los últimos 5 años sobre odontología preventiva durante el embarazo, se dio como resultado las alteraciones bucales son provocadas por los cambios hormonales que sufren las embarazadas que se manifiesta en la cavidad bucal y la poca educación del cuidado oral. Concluyendo sobre el trabajo realizado se determinó que las patologías bucodentales pueden afectar durante el embarazo son: Gingivitis, Enfermedad Periodontal, Xerostomía, Caries, Sialorrea, Granuloma piógeno y Épulis del embarazo | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research work addresses the topic of preventive dentistry during pregnancy, from fertilization to the end of gestation, which lasts approximately forty weeks, dental care during pregnancy requires special attention, dental care during gestation requires special attention, evaluating certain dental procedures to agree with the trimesters dedicated to the maturation of the embryo and not alter the organogenesis, high levels of hormones such as estrogen and progesterone are necessary for fetal development and human chorionic gonadotropin is associated with nausea and vomiting and can cause disorders of the oral and dental cavity. Some beliefs postpone dental care due to the discomfort that dental treatment can cause. The objective of this study was to establish the procedures of preventive dentistry during pregnancy and to identify the oral alterations that can occur during pregnancy. The type of research used was qualitative, descriptive, and transversal of articles with scientific updates and different bibliographic sources within the last 5 years on preventive dentistry during pregnancy, the result was that the oral alterations are caused by the hormonal changes that pregnant women suffer that are manifested in the oral cavity and the lack of education on oral care. Concluding on the work carried out, it was determined that the oral pathologies that can affect during pregnancy are Gingivitis, Periodontal Disease, Xerostomia, Caries, Sialorrhea, Pyogenic Granuloma and Epulis of Pregnancy | es_ES |
