Resumen
El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad la prevención de riesgos en el manejo de los documentos del Vicerrectorado Académico de la Universidad de Guayaquil, por parte de las personas encargadas de esta área archivística. Una vez que se plantea el problema de la institución, se investigó y expuso contenido científico de las variables del estudio, luego se escogió la metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa, se aplicó las encuestas para conocer, evaluar y analizar el nivel de conocimiento de los responsables del uso de los documentos y las condiciones donde los resguardan. Con los resultados obtenidos, de las encuestas aplicadas se diseñó un instructivo de aplicación de normas técnicas para prevenir el riesgo en el manejo de los documentos. Lo planteado con esta propuesta es con la finalidad de garantizar que toda aquella documentación generada y custodiada por el organismo en mención, se conserve y cumpla con la vida útil establecida.
The purpose of this investigative work is the prevention of risks in the handling of documents of the Academic Vice President of the University of Guayaquil, by the people in charge of this archival area.
