dc.description.abstractEl impactoque se vive en la actualidad sobre el sector de las telecomunicaciones se da a principios del siglo XXI gracias a la aparición de los serviciosOver The Top (OTT)e IPTV plataformasque brindan servicios a través de la red.El proveedor del serviciode internetrecibe el contenido de lospaquetes IP de un tercero y lo envía bajo demanda del usuario final el cual podrá disponer del servicio devoz, mensajeríay video,mediante dispositivoscon conexión a Internet como Tablet, Smartphoneó Smart TV. Se utilizó el método bibliográfico para obtener la información, en la cual se realizó un análisis donde se identificaron las variables de cada tecnología y con la ayuda de los métodos deductivos y de campo permitieron desarrollar el sistema dinámico utilizando el software Vensim. Colombia país que durante cuatro años ha incrementado usuarios IPTV desde 2015 un 32,73% al 2018 un 37,50% y con respecto a la tecnología OTT-TV del 6% al 18,80% estos resultados indican la aceptación por parte del consumidor, basados en estos valores se implementó el sistema dinámico donde muestra la variable usuarios de IPTV y OTT-TV que engloba la tendencia tecnológica y adicional con las variables independientes de costos, programación, y servicios se realizaron pruebas incrementando precios, disminuyendo programación y eliminando ciertos servicios para lograr observar el comportamiento del usuario ante estas alteraciones de valores y poder así identificar los motivos, valores y contenido que indujeron al espectador en la elección de una de las dos tecnologías. Al finalizar el estudio se realizaron estrategias para Ecuador y se recomienda que ambas tecnologías deben innovar la programación agregando contenido de ocio, moda, conflictos sociales, deportes y tecnología que son los más solicitados por la audiencia y con estolograran el incremento de usuarios por adquirir servicios audiovisuales.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe current impact on the telecommunications sector is at the beginning of the 21st century thanks to the emergence of Over the Top (OTT) services and IPTV platforms that provide services through the network. The internet service provider receives the contents of the IP packets from a third party and sends it on demand by the end-user who may have the voice, messagingand video servicethrough Internet-connected devices such as Tablet, Smartphoneor Smart TV. The bibliographic method was used to obtain the information,in which an analysis was carried out where the variables of each technology were identified and with the help of deductive and field methods,allowthe development of the dynamic system using Vensim software. Colombia,country that for three years has increased IPTV users from 2015 by 32,73% to 2018 by 37,50% and with respect to OTT-TV technology from 6% to 18,80%,these results indicate consumer acceptance, based on these values the dynamic system was implemented where it shows the users variablesIPTV and OTT-TVthat involvesthe technological trend and additionalwith the independent variables of costs, programming, and services, tests were carried out increasing prices, decreasing programming and eliminating certain services to observe the user's behavior bythese alterations of values and thus be able to identify the reasons, values and content that induced the viewer in the choice of one of the two technologies.
