Análisis del crecimiento del tráfico de datos de internet debido a la emergencia sanitaria por el COVID-19.

Resumen
La llegada de la pandemia por Covid-19, obligó al mundo a permanecer en cuarentena
debido a las restricciones de movilidad para detener su expansión, la humanidad se vio
obligada a continuar con sus actividades mediante una nueva normalidad, realizando
teletrabajo, teleeducación, entretenimiento, entre otras actividades de forma digital, lo cual
provocó un aumento en el tráfico de datos de internet de manera acelerada, generando
congestionamientos en todo tipo de redes, esto se reflejó en la disminución de velocidades
de internet. Esta investigación realiza un análisis del tráfico de datos de internet tomando
en consideración el número de usuarios, tendencias mundiales y nacionales, crecimiento de
servicios streaming, redes sociales, plataformas educativas, entre otras. Se realizaron
gráficas estadísticas con información brindada de reportes de agencias y proveedores
nacionales e internacionales, y por último se propone un informe con las medidas tomadas
a mediano y largo plazo para soportar el tráfico de internet.
The arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic forced the world to stay in quarantine due to mobility restrictions to stop its expansion, humanity was forced to continue with its normal activities through telecommuting, tele-education, telemedicine, entertainment, among other digital activities. The quarantine caused an increase in the Internet traffic, causing congestion in all types of networks, this was reflected in the decrease of Internet speeds. In this research, an analysis of internet data traffic was carried out by the number of users, national and international trends, growth of streaming services, social networks, educational platforms, among others. Statistical graphs were created with information provided from national and international reports. Finally, a report was made explaining how the companies controlled the increase of Internet traffic in the medium and long term.
