| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los servicios que brindan los centros geriátricos a los adultos mayores con demencia senil tipo Alzheimer en la ciudad de Guayaquil, ya que la enfermedad de Alzheimer compromete el bienestar de una familia entera, debido a que el enfermo, con el avance de la enfermedad se vuelve dependiente de la persona que lo cuida. Se analizó las necesidades que tiene un enfermo de Alzheimer, y se comparó los servicios que recibe al permanecer en su hogar vs los servicios que recibe en un centro geriátrico. Se comparó los servicios que prestan los centros geriátricos que no aceptan adultos mayores con alzhéimer, y se comprobó que en los mismos pueden ser atendidos, en la primera etapa de la enfermedad. En el proceso de la investigación se observó, que las personas que son atendidas en un centro geriátricos, lograron cambiar el estilo de vida del enfermo e hicieron la carga más liviana para la familia. También se logró determinar que existe escases de centros geriátricos con atención a los adultos mayores con demencia senil tipo alzhéimer, en donde se obtuvo como resultado que sólo 3 centros de los 11 estudiados, reciben adultos mayores con demencia senil tipo Alzheimer en la ciudad de Guayaquil, existiendo así familias con un adulto mayor con demencia senil tipo alzhéimer, que desean mejorar su estilo de vida, antes de convertirse una carga para las mismas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This work entitled: "ANALYSIS OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES PROVIDED BY CENTRES GERIATRIC TO SENIORS WITH DEMENTIA OF THE ALZHEIMER TYPE IN THE CITY OF GUAYAQUIL" aims to analyze the services provided by nursing homes for the elderly with dementia Alzheimer type in the city of Guayaquil, since Alzheimer's disease involves the welfare of an entire family, because the sick, with the advance of the disease depends on the caregiver becomes. The needs that an Alzheimer's patient was analyzed, and the services you get to stay at home vs the services received in a nursing home compared. The services provided by nursing homes that do not accept older adults with Alzheimer's compared, and found that they can be treated in the first stage of the disease.
