Incidencia de enfermedades hepatorrenales en pacientes portadores de VIH que reciben tratamiento con antirretroviral, Efavirenz/Emtricitabina/Tenofovir durante el periodo 2017- 2020

dc.description.abstractEl hígado y los riñones son los órganos que se encuentran mayormente afectados por el tratamiento con antirretrovirales, llevando al desarrollo de enfermedades hepatorrenales, actualmente son una de las principales causas de morbilidad y mortalidad entre los pacientes que viven con el virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana (VIH). La metodología empleada en este trabajo fue de carácter bibliográfico- descriptivo, de enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo. Obteniendo un universo constituido por un total de 4072 pacientes con diagnóstico de VIH que cumplían los criterios de elegibilidad; sin embargo, al aplicar los criterios de exclusión, quedaron 148 pacientes disponibles para el presente estudio. Los resultados muestran que la prevalencia de enfermedades hepatorrenales es mayor en el género masculino con 112 casos (76%), y 36 del género femenino (24%), cuyo grupo etario predomina de 26 a 40 años (44,6%). Los pacientes en tratamiento con EFV/FTC/TDF, en urea 66(92%) presentaron valores fuera del rango normal (FRN) y solo 6 (8%) con valores normales (VN), en creatinina, 52 (93%) pacientes del sexo masculino presentaron valores FRN y 5 (7%) con VN, los análisis de TGO y TGP muestran un total 17 (94%) y 16 (89%) respectivamente con valores FRN, para el caso de FA un total de 13 (72%) pacientes se encuentra FNR y solo 5 (28%) pacientes se encuentran dentro de los parámetros de fosfatasa alcalina, lo cual demuestra una alta prevalencia de desarrollar enfermedades hepatorrenales en pacientes que se encuentran en tratamiento antirretroviral con el régimen EFV/FTC/TDF.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe liver and kidneys are the organs that are most affected by antiretroviral treatment, leading to the development of hepatorenal diseases, they are currently one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality among patients living with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The methodology used in this work was of a bibliographic-descriptive nature, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Obtaining a universe constituted by a total of 4072 patients with a diagnosis of HIV who fulfilled the eligibility criteria; however, when applying the exclusion criteria, 148 patients remained available for the present study. The results show that the prevalence of hepatorenal diseases is higher in males with 112 cases (76%), and 36 in females (24%), whose age group predominates between 26 and 40 years (44.6%). The patients treated with EFV / FTC / TDF, in urea 66 (92%) had values outside the normal range (FRN) and only 6 (8%) with normal values (VN), in creatinine, 52 (93%) patients of the male sex presented FRN values and 5 (7%) with VN, the TGO and TGP analyzes show a total of 17 (94%) and 16 (89%) respectively with FRN values, for the case of AF a total of 13 ( 72%) patients are FNR and only 5 (28%) patients are within alkaline phosphatase parameters, which shows a high prevalence of developing hepatorenal diseases in patients who are on antiretroviral treatment with the EFV / FTC / TDF.es_ES
