| dc.description.abstract | Se denomina terceros molares retenidos aquellos que, llegada su etapa normal de erupción, no lo logran y permanecen en el interior de los maxilares sin alterar la integridad del saco pericoronario, presentándose en dos formas intraósea o subgingival, lo que no les permiten erupcionar de manera normal. El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue establecer las complicaciones locales y sistémicas que se presentan con mayor frecuencia en la cirugía de terceros molares retenidos y así determinar el pronóstico de dicho tratamiento en el consentimiento informado. La metodología se basó en revisiones bibliográficas, en donde se analizaron diversos artículos de revistas como Rode, Scielo, Google Scholar, Medigrafic, referentes al tema de estudio obteniendo la fuente necesaria para el desarrollo de la investigación. Por lo que se concluye que este enfoque está encaminado fundamentalmente, al hecho de informarle al paciente sobre las posibles complicaciones que se pueden presentar durante y después de la cirugía de terceros molares retenidos, mediante un consentimiento informado personalizado haciéndole participe en la toma de decisiones Impacted third molars are those that, after their normal eruption stage, do not achieve the final stage and remain inside the maxilla without altering the integrity of the pericoronal sac. There are two forms of these impacted third molars: intraosseous and sub gingival, which does not allow them to erupt in a normal way. The objective of this research is to establish the local and systemic complications that occurs most frequently in the surgery of impacted third molars, in order to establish the prognosis of that treatment in the informed consent. The methodology was based on bibliographic research, in which various journal articles such as Rode, Scielo, Google Scholar, Medigrafic among which referring to the topic was analyzed, obtaining the necessary source for the development of the research.. Therefore, it is concluded that this approach is fundamentally aimed at informing the patient about the possible complications that may occur both during and after the surgery of retained third molars, through personalized informed consent, making him participate in decision-making. | es_ES |
