| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo tiene como propósito determinar la factibilidad de la telemedicina en el área de psiquiatría en la clínica Santa Isabel. Para ello, la metodología utilizada fue una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, haciendo uso de entrevistas y encuestas como instrumento para la recopilación de datos. Las entrevistas fueron realizadas a familiares de los pacientes, las encuestas fueron realizadas a especialistas del Instituto de Neurociencias. Por último, para la determinación de la factibilidad se analizó la telemedicina en diferentes aspectos, entre ellos, económico, social, financiero y tecnológico. Se concluyó que es factible utilizar la telemedicina en el área de psiquiatría en base al alto nivel de confidencialidad que existiría al momento de acudir a la consulta. Se recomienda el uso de firmas digitales debido a que la ley de uso de recetas médicas impide recetar. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis project aims to determine the feasibility of telemedicine in the area of psychiatry at the Santa Isabel clinic. In order to accomplish this a descriptive research with a quantitative and qualitative approach was used, using interviews and surveys as instruments for data collection. The interviews were carried out with relatives of the patients; the surveys were made to specialists of the Institute of Neurosciences. Finally, for the determination of feasibility, telemedicine was analyzed in different aspects, including economic, social, financial and technological. It was concluded that it is feasible to use telemedicine in the area of psychiatry based on the high level of confidentiality that would exist at the time of attending the consultation. The use of digital signatures is recommended because the law on the use of prescriptions prevents prescription. | es_ES |
