| dc.description.abstract | Agenesia dentaria y dientes supernumerarios en niños con dentición mixta. Los dientes supernumerarios más conocidos como hiperodoncia, consiste en un número excesivo de dientes en relación con la formula dentaria normal entre el 1,5% y el 3,5% en la dentición permanente el de las alteraciones dentales es importante ya que nos permitirá diferenciar en el paciente con fisura labio-palatino y con disostosis cleidocraneal. Permitiéndole al profesional en odontología brindarle al niño el tratamiento especializado y adecuado para mejorar su salud bucal. La investigación del presente trabajo es resolver el problema planteado, consiste en analizar la agenesia dentaria y los dientes supernumerarios en niños. El estudio de las anomalías dentales en dentición temporal y permanente. Sabiendo que el epitelio bucal a la octava semana prolifera penetrando en el tejido conjuntivo subyacente y forman la lámina dental. Cuando la lámina dental está incompleta solo forma algunos dientes temporales y sus correspondientes permanentes. En los antecedentes de la investigación la comparación de piezas dentales con adhesivos y sin ellos, el diente supernumerario fue único el 76% de casos en situaciones medial, cerca de la línea media en 69% mientras que 30,4% de los supernumerarios se encontraban ligeramente alegados de la línea media y fueron catalogados como dientes paramediales. Las formas cónicas en incisivos fueron los prevalentes, correspondiendo a 57,6% y 25,6% respectivamente, la mayoría de los dientes conoides fueron dientes únicos. La agenesia dentaria es una patología congénita que deriva en la ausencia de uno o más dientes temporales o permanentes.
