Sentido de coherencia en trabajadores de la ciudad de Guayaquil: el ajuste del trabajador a la organización

Resumen
Este estudio se propuso investigar el Sentido de Coherencia (SOC) en trabajadores de Guayaquil y su relación con el ajuste a las organizaciones. Se planteó como objetivo general analizar cómo los trabajadores se adaptan a sus entornos laborales para cumplir con sus responsabilidades. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa, se llevaron a cabo entrevistas semiestructuradas y se aplicaron instrumentos como la Escala Reducida para Valorar el SOC a una muestra de 12 adultos trabajadores. Los resultados revelaron que el SOC se asociaba con una mayor experiencia laboral y conocimiento formal, así como una comunicación efectiva y liderazgo transformacional. Además, se encontró que el SOC estaba relacionado con la satisfacción laboral, el bienestar emocional y la percepción del clima organizacional. En conclusión, fortalecer el SOC entre los trabajadores puede mejorar su adaptación a las organizaciones, promover un entorno laboral más saludable y productivo, y contribuir al bienestar individual y colectivo.
The study examines the sense of coherence in workers from Guayaquil and their adjustment to work organizations. Qualitative methodology is employed to identify the peculiarities of the sense of coherence in this context. Objectives include describing the understanding of the work environment, the management of resistance resources, and the meaning of the work role. Semi-structured interviews, a sociodemographic form, and the Reduced Scale for Assessing Sense of Coherence (SOC 15) were applied to a sample of 12 healthy adult workers in Guayaquil. Results highlight the importance of SOC in facing work challenges and promoting resilience and well-being. It is suggested that strengthening SOC can improve work performance and quality of life. The research contributes to understanding work adjustment and has implications for promoting healthy and productive work environments in Guayaquil.
