| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad la odontología se basa en reconstruir con técnicas conservadoras, restauradoras y estéticas la morfología de las piezas dentales. De la misma forma existen materiales capaces de dar gran estética, funcionabilidad y que puedan ser adheridos a la estructura dentaria, haciendo que exista mayor conservación y duración en boca. A menudo los pacientes llegan a la consulta buscando soluciones significativas, y una de ellas es el cierre de diastemas, cuando esto ocurre es deber del especialista realizar un diagnóstico y pronostico óptimo, para así lograr, que las variadas opciones de los tratamientos aseguren el éxito. En el caso clínico realizado las carillas cerámicas de disilicato de litio fue el tratamiento elegido para el cierre de diastema, ya que gracias a su variabilidad del sistema, presenta una excelente estética, garantizando las restauraciones cerámicas con buenas propiedades ópticas tales como translucidez y fluorescencia, muy similar a las de la propia estructura dentaria. Objetivo: Establecer el estado estético, funcional y biológico del paciente mediante el cierre del diastema con carillas de cerámicas de disilicato de litio. Métodos: de tipo práctico, descriptivo y bibliográfico. Resultados: Excelente adaptación, propiedades ópticas similar a la pieza dentaria y altamente estéticas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Today dentistry is based on rebuilding with conservative, restorative and aesthetic techniques morphology of the teeth. Likewise there are materials capable of great aesthetic, functionality and can be attached to the tooth structure, making greater conservation exists and duration in mouth. Often patients come to the consultation seeking meaningful solutions, and one of them is the diastema closure, when this happens it is the duty of the specialist to diagnose and optimal prognosis, in order to achieve that the various options of treatments ensure success. In the clinical case made of ceramic veneers lithium disilicate was the chosen treatment for diastema closure, and thanks to its system variability presents an excellent aesthetics, ensuring ceramic restorations with good optical properties such as translucency and fluorescence, very similar to the tooth structure itself. Objective: To establish the aesthetic, functional and biological condition of the patient by closing the diastema with ceramic veneers lithium disilicate.
