dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de la sistematización fue evaluar el desarrollo de las habilidades de comunicación en niños/as con discapacidad intelectual en el área de Arteterapia de la Fundación Guayas Avanza, CIE “Centro Integral de Equinoterapia. El presente estudio levantó información del trabajo realizado con seis niños con discapacidad intelectual leve (DI) con un porcentaje de 45% de acuerdo a la calificación de su carnet del Conadis, cuyo proceso evaluativo se desarrolló mediante la realización de las Prácticas Pre Profesionales en el segundo semestre del año 2017. La metodología utilizada tiene un enfoque cualitativo, diseño fenomenológico y alcance descriptivo donde se emplearon diferentes instrumentos como: Guía de observación, entrevista semiestructurada, lista de cotejos y encuesta para padres que permitieron contrastar el nivel de desarrollo en sus habilidades de comunicación verbal y no verbal. Los resultados obtenidos durante el proceso evaluativo demostraron positivos avances en su desarrollo facilitando las interacciones sociales y comunicación con adultos y con sus pares, demostrando la importancia que tuvieron las actividades, el rol del terapista y el acompañamiento de los padres inmersos en la metodología del Arteterapia, enfatizando el apoyo que el padre o cuidador por su compromiso y dedicación tanto en casa como en las terapias fueron un pilar fundamental para llegar a este desarrollo de las habilidades.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the systematization was to evaluate the development of communication skills in children with intellectual disabilities in the Art Therapy area of the Guayas Avanza Foundation, CIE "Integral Center for Equine Therapy. The present study collected information about the work performed with six children with mild intellectual disability (ID) with a percentage of 45% according to the qualification of their Conadis card, whose evaluation process was developed through the implementation of Pre-Professional Practices in the second semester of 2017. The methodology used has a qualitative approach, phenomenological design and descriptive scope where different instruments were used as: Observation guide, semi-structured interview, checklist and parent survey that allowed to contrast the level of development in their abilities of verbal and non-verbal communication. The results obtained during the evaluative process demonstrated positive advances in their development, facilitating social interactions and communication with adults and their peers, demonstrating the importance of the activities, the role of the therapist and the accompaniment of parents immersed in the methodology of Art Therapy , emphasizing the support that the parent or caregiver for their commitment and dedication both at home and in the therapies were a fundamental pillar to reach this development of skillses_ES
