dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo investigativo tuvo el objetivo general de analizar la percepción de calidad de vida del paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica en Instituto del Riñón. Se empleó metodología interpretativa, cualitativa, fenomenológica, con entrevista a cinco pacientes, cuyos hallazgos demostraron que las personas que padecen esta enfermedad catastrófica, sufrieron un cambio brusco de su estilo de vida, tratando de resignarse y adaptarse a la incertidumbre, después del golpe inicial del diagnóstico que les generó sufrimiento, impotencia, desconsuelo, porque desertaron de sus estudios y no pudieron seguir trabajando, sometiéndose a la diálisis y consejería del personal de enfermería, necesitando apoyo familiar, fe en Dios para albergar esperanzas de convivir con su enfermedad, respetando normas de bioseguridad y medidas de precaución para evitar COVID-19, además de sufrir limitaciones severas, que generaron dependencia, aproximándose estos hallazgos a teorías de Maslow y de Henderson. En conclusión, los pacientes percibieron una calidad de vida baja, pero con resignación y esperanzas de convivir con la misma.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present investigative work had the general objective of analyzing the perception of quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure at the Kidney Institute. An interpretive, qualitative, phenomenological methodology was used, with interviews with five patients, whose findings showed that people suffering from this catastrophic disease suffered a sudden change in their lifestyle, trying to resign themselves and adapt to uncertainty, after the initial blow. of the diagnosis that caused them suffering, impotence, despair, because they dropped out of their studies and could not continue working, undergoing dialysis and counseling by the nursing staff, needing family support, faith in God to harbor hopes of living with their illness, respecting biosafety regulations and precautionary measures to avoid COVID-19, in addition to suffering severe limitations, which generated dependency, these findings approaching Maslow's and Henderson's theories. In conclusion, the patients perceived a low quality of life, but with resignation and hopes of living with it.es_ES
