Análisis de los acuerdos comerciales y sus efectos sobre el comercio exterior. Caso de estudio Ecuador 2015 – 2021

Resumen
La presente investigación realiza un estudio profundo de la problemática relacionada con los acuerdos comerciales y procesos de integración en el flujo de operaciones de comercio exterior. Por tal motivo, el objetivo del estudio subyace en un análisis de los acuerdos comerciales y sus resultados sobre el comercio exterior del Ecuador, período 2015 – 2021. El marco metodológico se laboró considerando el enfoque cuantitativo, un método de estudio analítico, un tipo de análisis descriptivo. Dado que el estudio corresponde a una investigación macroeconómica, se consideró el 100% de los datos recopilados en la investigación. En los instrumentos usados en el estudio, se recurrió al análisis de bases de datos obtenidos del Banco Central del Ecuador. Se formuló una premisa que constituyó la idea que orientó el desarrollo de la investigación. Entre los principales resultados, se encontró que los acuerdos comerciales y procesos de integración lograron aumentar el volumen de operaciones en comercio exterior del Ecuador. Sin embargo, los instrumentos señalados no lograron establecer una amplia diferencia en el crecimiento de las exportaciones con respecto a las importaciones nacionales. Además, se hace notar que no se mantiene acuerdos de libre comercio con Estados Unidos y China, siendo que los referidos países constituyeron un eje en las operaciones de comercio exterior de nuestro país.
The present investigation carries out an in-depth study of the problems related to trade agreements and integration processes in the flow of foreign trade operations. For this reason, the objective of the study lies in an analysis of trade agreements and their results on Ecuador's foreign trade, period 2015 - 2021. The methodological framework was developed considering the quantitative approach, an analytical study method, a type of descriptive analysis. Since the study corresponds to a macroeconomic investigation, 100% of the data collected in the investigation was considered. In the instruments used in the study, the analysis of databases obtained from the Central Bank of Ecuador was used. A premise was formulated that constituted the idea that guided the development of the investigation. Among the main results, it was found that trade agreements and integration processes managed to increase the volume of foreign trade operations in Ecuador. However, the aforementioned instruments failed to establish a wide difference in the growth of exports with respect to national imports. In addition, it is noted that free trade agreements with the United States and China are not maintained, since the aforementioned countries constituted an axis in the foreign trade operations of our country.
