dc.description.abstractLas instituciones de educación superior en el Ecuador presentan un alto índice de riesgos de conatos de incendio, la demanda de estudiantes obliga al aumento de infraestructuras, maquinaria y materiales de fácil combustión. La presente investigación analiza estos riesgos dentro del edificio Tábara, antiguo edificio de correosdel Ecuador; los resultados obtenidos mediante la evaluación cualitativa de lamatriz de triple criterio indican un 84% de riesgo moderado y en la evaluación cuantitativa con la matriz de Gretener se obtiene que la seguridad contra incendios es insuficiente; estas metodologíasdejan en evidenciala falta de capacitaciónde la comunidad educativay delosequiposnecesarios;la propuesta planteada en base a estas conclusiones se basa en la creación de un plan de mitigación que de acuerdo al formato del Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos de Guayaquil (BCBG) debe realizarse por fases (anterior, durante y posterior), estableciendoorganismos responsables para su correcta ejecución.es_ES
dc.description.abstractHigher education institutions in Ecuador have a high risk of fire hazards, the demand ofstudents requires toincrease theinfrastructure, machinery and materials that are easy to burn. The present investigation analyzes these risks within the Tábara building, the old post office building in Ecuador. The results obtained through the qualitative evaluation of the triple criteria matrix indicate an 84% moderate risk,and in the quantitative evaluation with the Gretener matrix it is obtained that the fire safety is insufficient. These methodologies reveal the lack of training of the educational community and the necessary equipment.The proposal based on these conclusions is based on the creation of a mitigation plan that according to the format of the “Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos de Guayaquil”(BCBG) must be carried out in phases (before, during and after), establishing responsible bodies for their execution.es_ES
