| dc.description.abstract | Introducción: El consentimiento informado es uno de los aspectos primordiales, ya que expresa la voluntad y autonomía que tiene el paciente para decidir sobre el tratamiento que se le va a realizar. El tratamiento a realizarse depende de la decisión conjunta del paciente y profesional, presentándoselo a la persona a tratar de manera clara. La conclusión destaca la importancia de hacer del consentimiento informado el medio por el cual se recupera la dignidad de la persona mediante una relación ética y dialógica donde se reconoce la decisión del paciente. Objetivo: Determinar la importancia de utilizar el consentimiento informado en la práctica Odontológica. Metodología: El trabajo es una revisión bibliográfica – documental, descriptivo, analítico, y de método deductivo donde se usaron 80 artículos científicos que fueron publicados desde el 2016 hasta el 2022 y que fueron sacados de la web usando buscadores como Google Académico, Redalyc, Scielo, y en los metabuscadores Web of Science, PuMed, Cochrane, de los cuales se usaron 50 y el resto fueron excluidos. Resultado: Mayor conocimiento sobre la importancia que tiene aplicar el consentimiento informado en la práctica Odontológica. Recomendación: Informar adecuadamente al paciente sobre el consentimiento informado ya que es de suma importancia para todos los profesionales de la salud, no solo por los procesos legales que se puedan dar en caso de un fallo en el tratamiento, sino por el compromiso que tenemos con la persona para mejor su calidad de vida | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Informed consent is one of the essential aspects, since it expresses the will and autonomy that the patient has to decide on the treatment that is going to be performed. The treatment to be carried out depends on the joint decision of the patient and professional, presenting it to the person to be treated clearly. The conclusion highlights the importance of making informed consent the means by which the dignity of the person is recovered through an ethical and dialogical relationship where the patient's decision is recognized. Objective: To determine the importance of using informed consent in dental practice. Methodology: The work is a bibliographic review - documentary, descriptive, analytical, and deductive method where 80 scientific articles were used that were published from 2016 to 2022 and that were taken from the web using search engines such as Google Academic, Redalyc, Scielo, and in the Web of Science, PuMed, Cochrane metasearch engines, of which 50 were used and the rest were excluded. Result: Greater knowledge about the importance of applying informed consent in dental practice. Recommendation: Properly inform the patient about informed consent, since it is of the utmost importance for all health professionals, not only because of the legal processes that may occur in the event of a treatment failure, but also because of the commitment we have with the person to improve their quality of life. | es_ES |
