Distribución y áreas de abundancia del Meroplancton en la costa de la Provincia de Esmeraldas

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente trabajo determina la distribución y abundancia del meroplancton en seis localidades de la provincia de Esmeraldas situadas en la Costa norte Lagarto, Rio Verde y Esmeraldas y en la parte baja de la provincia Quingue, Muisne y Mompiche. Las épocas de muestreo fueron en octubre 2014 y enero 2015, representando las estaciones seca y húmeda respectivamente. Las muestras fueron lavadas previamente para sacar el formol y se tomó toda para el contaje e identificación de los organismos, asimismo se calculó el número de organismos por 100 m3 de agua filtrada. Se obtuvo un total de 100 muestras, observándose y contabilizándose varios grupos zooplanctónicos, donde se llegó a identificar taxonómicamente larvas y huevos pertenecientes a 3 Phyllum, 2 Clases (1 Infraclase), 6 Ordenes, 44 Familias, 1 Género y 2 Especies. La estructura de la comunidad zooplanctónica en la provincia de Esmeraldas estuvo representada por larvas de crustáceos decápodos de la familia Penaeidae, zoeas de crustáceos decápodos de la familia Xanthidae y huevos de peces de las familias Engraulidae, Synodontidae y Clupeidae. Las estaciones con mayor riqueza específica dentro del área de estudio fueron: Mompiche, Muisne y Quingue para octubre 2014, y Lagarto, Quingue y Río Verde para Enero 2015 El promedio de temperatura mensual mostró diferencias Significativas (w=<0.05) por época del año (octubre 2014 y enero 2015), mas no por zonas, entre las estaciones de la zona norte y las situadas en la parte baja de la provincia de Esmeraldas, diferencias de temperatura que, junto al oleaje y las mareas, estarían de alguna u otra forma incidiendo en la distribución de los principales grupos meroplanctónicos dentro de las estaciones de muestreo. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In the present work the distribution and abundance of the meroplankton and its relation with the thermal conditions in the coast of the province of Esmeraldas during October 2014 and January 2015 The samples were washed previously to extract the formaldehyde, the whole sample was taken for the counting and identification of the organisms, also the number of organisms per 100 m3 of filtered water was calculated. A total of 100 samples were obtained, observing and counting several zooplankton groups, where it was possible to identify taxonomically larvae and eggs belonging to 3 Phyllum, 2 Classes (1 Infraclase), 6 Orders, 44 Families, 1 Gender and 2 Species. The structure of the zooplankton community in the province of Esmeraldas was represented by decapod larvae of the Penaeidae family, decapod zoeas of the Xanthidae family and fish eggs of the Engraulidae, Synodontidae and Clupeidae families. The stations with the greatest specific wealth within the study area were: Mompiche, Muisne and Quingue for October 2014, Rio Verde, Quingue and Lizard for January 2015. The average monthly temperature showed significant differences (w = <0.05) for the time of the year (October 2014 and January 2015), but not by zones, between the stations of the north zone and those located in the lower part of the province of Esmeraldas, Temperature differences that together with the waves and the tides, would be of some form or other influencing the distribution of the main meroplankton groups within the sampling stations. | es_ES |
