| dc.description.abstract | Hoy en día, la perdida dental es causada por varios factores que interfieren en la masticación. La pérdida dental afecta la estética del paciente. Por lo tanto, el dentista opta por varios tratamientos dependiendo de la destrucción dental. La prótesis parcial fija cumple ciertas funciones, como la restauración de piezas dentales y la mejora de la estética. Por lo tanto, es esencial conocer los factores biomecánicos que nos dan el éxito de un tratamiento si seguimos un protocolo adecuado. El objetivo de este estudio es determinar los factores biomecánicos que influyen en el éxito de una prótesis parcial fija. Los materiales y métodos utilizados fueron el historial médico del paciente, fotografías y radiografías que utilizamos para un examen complementario. El método de esta investigación es analítico y sintético porque el caso tuvo que pasar por un análisis si el paciente estaba en perfectas condiciones para dicho tratamiento. El resultado de nuestro tratamiento fue exitoso dado que se realizaron varios seguimientos en el paciente y el tratamiento continuo en perfectas condiciones. En las conclusiones, se utilizó una prótesis parcial fija metal cerámico para devolver el funcionamiento y la estética en el paciente, el análisis de este caso nos permite saber que protocolo debemos seguir para alcanzar el éxito del tratamiento. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, dental loss is caused due to several factors whinch interfere in chewing. dental loss affects the aesthetics of the patient. Therefore, the dentist opts for several treatments depending on the tooth destruction. The fixed partial prosthesis fulfills certain functions such as restoration dental pieces and improving aesthetics. Therefore, it is essential to know the biomechanical factors whinch give us the success of a treatment if we follow an adequate protocol. The objective of this study is to determine the biomechanical factors that influence the success of a fixed partial denture. The materials and methods used were the patient's medical history, photographs and radiographs that we used for a complementary examination. The method of this research is analytical and synthetic because the case had to go through an analysis if the patient was in perfect conditions for such treatment. The result of our treatment was successful given that several follow-ups were made in the patient and the treatment continued in perfect conditions. In conclusions we a fixed partial ceramic metal prosthesis was used to return functioning and aesthetics in the patient, the analysis of this case allows us to know which protocol we ought to follow so as to reach the success of the treatment. | es_ES |
