Resumen
El presente proyecto de titulación tiene como objetivo diseñar una Residencia Universitaria en el Campus Mapasingue de la Universidad de Guayaquil, respondiendo a la necesidad de alojamiento de estudiantes foráneos. La propuesta se centra en la adaptación de una estructura existente, optimizando espacios arquitectónicos e incorporando soluciones innovadoras para el aprovechamiento del área. La iniciativa aspira a crear un entorno colaborativo, maximizando áreas comunes y promoviendo un campus amigable. Con el propósito de ofrecer una solución eficiente, se busca aprovechar elementos clave de la estructura existente respaldados por un sistema de mampostería prefabricada, contribuyendo así al bienestar estudiantil y al desarrollo integral de la comunidad universitaria.
The objective of this degree project is to design a University Residence at the Mapasingue Campus of the University of Guayaquil, in response to the need for housing for foreign students. The proposal focuses on adapting an existing structure, optimizing architectural spaces and incorporating innovative solutions for the efficient use of the area. The initiative aims to create a collaborative environment, maximizing common areas and promoting a friendly campus. With the purpose of providing an efficient solution, it seeks to leverage key elements of the existing structure supported by a prefabricated masonry system, thus contributing to student well-being and the comprehensive development of the university community.
