| dc.description.abstract | Se realizóun estudio sobrelas restauraciones directas en el sector anterior ya que haygran demanda por parte delos pacientesquebuscan una mejor estética. Por lo tanto, el profesional debe de tener conocimientos tanto de la anatomía dental y de la manipulación adecuada de todos los instrumentos y materiales que se utilizan en el proceso, así como también deberá de actualizar sus conocimientos para brindar una atención de calidad. Objetivo:Determinar cuáles son los factores que impiden al odontólogo observar de manera infalible el color dental y a su vez poder seleccionar correctamente el color de las restauraciones dentales estéticas. Metodología:Este trabajo de investigación es del tipo cualitativo, exploratorio, descriptivo, analítico, documental, retrospectivo, no experimental. La compilación del material bibliográfico se obtuvo de 38 artículos. Resultados: Con la ayuda de toda la información que se encontró, los resultados fueron beneficiosos, de esta manera podemos demostrar las falencias del odontólogo y su falta de conocimiento sobre las propiedades ópticas dentales, lasfuentes de luz y la falta de actualización dando paso a restauraciones con poca naturalidad y pacientes descontentos. Conclusiones: Se debe procurar el control de los aspectos y factores que intervienen en el protocolo de las restauraciones dentales, reduciendo significativamente el riesgo de fallar en la toma de color dental. Recomendaciones:Considerando el interés que tiene esta investigaciónsugerimos, realizar un estudio a fondo del caso, recibir la opinión de un colega al escoger el color evitandoel metamerismo. Se debe aplicar técnicas y biomateriales actualizados para un tratamiento más eficaz. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | A study was carried out on direct restorations in the anterior sector as there is great demand from patients seeking better aesthetics. Therefore, the professional must have knowledge of both dental anatomy and the proper handling of all instruments and materials used in the process, as well as update their knowledge to provide quality care. Objective: To determine which are the factors that prevent the dentist from observing infallibly the tooth color and in turn being able to correctly select the color of aesthetic dental restorations. Methodology: This research work is qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, analytical, documentary, retrospective, not experimental. The compilation of bibliographic material was obtained from 38 articles. Results: With the help of all the information that was found, the results were beneficial, in this way we can demonstrate the deficiencies of the dentist and his lack of knowledge about dental optical properties, light sources and lack of updating, giving way to unnatural restorations and unhappy patients. Conclusions: The aspects and factors that intervene in the protocol of dental restorations should be controlled, significantly reducing the risk of failing to take dental shade. Recommendations: Considering the interest that this research has, we suggest conducting an in-depth study of the case, receiving the opinion of a colleague when choosing the color, avoiding metamerism. Updated techniques and biomaterials must be applied for a more effective treatment. | es_ES |
