Los cerómeros pueden constituir una alternativa viable para dientes posteriores, ofreciendo una mejor adaptación y longevidad.

| dc.description.abstract | Actualmente se observa una creciente preferencia, de parte de los pacientes, por los materiales estéticos en sustitución a los metales. Así, la exigencia estética y la preocupación por la apariencia, se han constituido en factores cada vez más imperativos para la convivencia social y mejora de la autoestima. En la consulta privada, se realizó un caso clínico de incrustación en cerómero en que nuestro objetivo es demostrar que este material es uno de los materiales más utilizados en el consultorio ya que nos ofrece por sus características una gran resistencia a las fuerzas oclusales además de la excelente estética, ya que los colores que este posee son muy semejantes al del diente natural , son estas dos características principales para lo cual nos hemos basado en hacer el proyecto ,que es sin duda lo que buscan los pacientes hoy en día, “estética y funcionalidad ’’.Estos poseen la capacidad de absorber una gran cantidad de carga, además de eso tienen un amplio margen de elasticidad en comparación a otros sistemas de restauración, esto lo hace mucho más resistente a las fracturas, cabe destacar que las incrustaciones de cerómero tienen un bajo índice de desgaste, esta particularidad la convierte en una restauración longeva, es decir que puede durar mucho tiempo sin que presente cambios significativos. Los resultados obtenidos fueron visibles y claros, se mejoró la oclusión y estética dental y se dió las respectivas recomendaciones al paciente para que asista a un control cada 6 meses y evitar algún tipo de microfiltración queriendo mantener nuestro objetivo principal que es de darle “longevidad a nuestra restauración”. | dc.description.abstract | Currently it's been observed an increasing preference, from the patients, to use aesthetic materials as substitute of metals. Thus, the aesthetic demands and the concern for appearance have become in factors increasingly imperative for social cohesion and improving self-esteem.At the mentor doctor's office who put his private practice available for the completion of the project, a case of incrustation was performed in ceromer in order to demonstrate that this material is still one of the most widely used materials in the market since it offers, by its characteristics, great resistance to occlusal forces besides great and high aesthetics, because the colors possessed by this are very similar to the natural tooth. These two main features, for which we have relied in making the project, are certainly what patients are looking for nowadays: aesthetics and functionality.These have the capacity to absorb a large amount of charge. On top of that, they have a wide range of elasticity compared to other systems of restoration. This makes it much more resistant to fractures. It must be noted that the incrustations of ceromer have a low rate of wear. This feature turns it into a long lasting restoration. Meaning that it lasts for a long time without significant changes.The results were visible and clear. The occlusion and the dental esthetics were improved, and the respective recommendations were given to the patient to attend once every six months and to avoid any type of microfiltration, in order to achieve our main objective which is "longevity to our restoration."
