dc.description.abstractEl cálculo de la edad gestacional en el tercer trimestre en pacientes que no tienen FUM confiable o que simplemente no lo recuerdan, se convierte en un reto para el médico, especialmente en aquellos casos en los que se requiere decidir la finalización de un embarazo o la iniciación de maduración pulmonar. En el aérea de emergencia del Hospital materno-infantil Matilde Hidalgo de Procel se utiliza el método de ecografía con medición de longitud de fémur. Siendo el fémur el hueso más largo del feto, por eso se utiliza en la estimación de la edad gestacional del bebé: al ser el hueso más largo, el error de medición se minimiza. En realidad no medimos el hueso en toda su longitud, sino su parte osificada. En la imagen se aprecia con nitidez el hueso, así como la medición, tomada entre dos puntos que se señalan con una cruz. En el área de neonatos se utiliza el test de Capurro para valorar la edad gestacional de un neonato, este método utiliza cinco parámetros fisiológicos que nos ayudan a identificar la edad gestacional de un neonato. Objetivo: Determinar la eficacia de la medición del fémur por ecografía en la valoración de la edad gestacional. Diseño: La presente investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño no experimental, con un corte transversal, con un método de observación indirecta, análisis y correlación. Palabras claves: Ecopuntaje, edad gestacional, Test de Capurro Resultados: Las 108 pacientes que formaron parte del estudio tuvieron una edad que predominó entre los 20 – 29 años de edad, con el 41.6%. De las mujeres encuestadas el 23.1% tiene un solo hijo, el 39.8% tiene tres hijos o más, y el 37.0% tiene dos hijos. Observándose que existe que predomina las mujeres multigestantes. viii Según el test de Capurro las semanas de gestación que predominó fue de 39 semanas con un porcentaje de 37.0 %, y en menor porcentaje de 34, 35, 41 y 42 semanas de gestación. En relación a madurez fetal encontramos que un 90.7% nació a término. Conclusiones: El Ecopuntaje, en el grupo de estudio, demostró que posee una alta sensibilidad y una mínima especificidad para detectar a los recién nacidos a término.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe calculation of gestational age in the third quarter in patients who do not have reliable LMP or simply do not remember, it becomes a challenge for the physician, especially in those cases where it is required to decide the termination of a pregnancy or initiation lung maturation. In the emergency Maternal and Child Hospital Matilde Hidalgo ultrasound method femur length measurement is used. Being the femur the longest fetal bone, why is used in estimating gestational age of the baby: to be the longest bone, the measurement error is minimized. In the air neonatal Capurro test is used to assess gestational age of a newborn, this method uses five physiological parameters that help us identify the gestational age of a newborn. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of ultrasound measurement of the femur in the assessment of gestational age. Design: This research is a qualitative approach with a non-experimental design, with a cross section with a method of indirect observation, analysis and correlation.
