Resumen
Esta investigación se realizó con el objeto de encontrar nuevas técnicas para mejorar la
reproducción y producción en un hato ganadero lechero, para aprovechar al máximo el
ciclo productivo y reproductivo de una vaca.
Con los resultados obtenidos se reflejó que aplicando el tratamiento estudiado,
Benzoato de Estradiol se obtuvo un pronto retorno al estro entre los días 21-25 de
aquellos animales que no gestaron en su primer servicio, logrando así; reducir el
intervalo entre servicio y parto-parto por año.
Para la obtención de una mayor eficiencia en el comportamiento reproductivo del hato,
en el diagnóstico de preñez de las vacas se necesito efectuarlo en el menor tiempo
posible posterior al servicio, con el objetivo de re-inseminar aquellas que resultaron no gestantes
