Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal analizar los principales productos exportados desde Ecuador hacía la unión europea durante el periodo 2016-2020. Se utilizó la investigación documental y el enfoque cualitativo – cuantitativo, donde el enfoque cuantitativo sirvió de soporte y pieza fundamental para evidenciar la evolución de las exportaciones de los principales productos desde Ecuador hacia la Unión Europea. Por medio del enfoque cualitativo se pudo determinar las ventajas y desventajas como producto de la firma del acuerdo comercial desde el año 2016. Además, Se concluye que los productos tradicionales ecuatorianos exportados al mercado de la unión europea se han incrementado en los últimos cuatros años, mostrando así un resultado favorable del mencionado acuerdo, pero se recomienda revisar e impulsar otros productos que pueden ser mayormente demandados por este bloque comercial.
The main objective of this research work was to analyze the main products exported from Ecuador to the European Union during the 2016-2020 period. Documentary research and the qualitative - quantitative approach were used, where the quantitative approach served as support and a fundamental piece to show the evolution of exports of the main products from Ecuador to the European Union. Through the qualitative approach, it was possible to determine the advantages and disadvantages as a result of the signing of the trade agreement since 2016. In addition, it is concluded that traditional Ecuadorian products exported to the European Union market have increased in the last four years, thus showing a favorable result of the aforementioned agreement, but it is recommended to review and promote other products that may be in greater demand by this trade bloc.
