| dc.description.abstract | Introducción: los trastornos temporomandibulares forman parte de una serie de realidades clínicas que afectan a la musculatura masticatoria, así como a las articulaciones temporomandibulares. Por ello, la presente investigación, se realizó mediante un estudio descriptivo, transversal, exploratorio y no experimental. Propósito: observar y comparar las características del caso clínico en estudio, con el fin de establecer los principios teóricos basados en esta investigación, contribuyendo a la obtención de información sobre la eficiencia y los beneficios del uso de férulas oclusales en pacientes con trastornos temporomandibulares, A través de la investigación documental y exposición de un caso. Resultados: Se notó una gran mejora en el paciente, mostrando alivio en sus dolores de cabeza, dolores y molestias en la articulación temporomandibulares y otros cambios positivos para el paciente. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: The temporomandibular disorders are part of a series of clinical realities that use to affect the masticatory musculature, as well as the temporomandibular articulations. For that reason the present investigation, was carried out by means of a descriptive study, cross, exploratory and non-experimental. Purpose: to observe and compare the characteristics of the clinical case in study, in order to establish the theoretical principles based in this investigation, contributing to the obtaining of information about the efficiency and profits of the use of occlusals splints for patients with temporomandibular disorders, through documentary investigation and exhibition of a case. Results: It was noticed big improvement in the patient, showing relief in his headaches, pains and discomfort in the temporomandibular articulation and other positive changes for the patient. | es_ES |
