| dc.description.abstract | El proceso carioso está considerado como un problema de la salud oral, teniendo en cuenta que este tiene un alto índice de prevalencia. Por lo cual se debe considerar que cuando esta lesión no es detenida a tiempo, puede avanzar y comprometer el tejido pulpar llegando así a un proceso purulento, no obstante, la caries no es la única razón por la cual el tejido pulpar se ve afectado, sino también los traumas. El tratamiento endodóntico está indicado en enfermedades pulpares irreversibles, por tanto, la extirpación de la pulpa infectada es el siguiente paso a seguir, tanto en la porción coronaria como en la porción radicular. La importancia del tratamiento pulpar está en que éste permite rehabilitar la pieza dentaria con el fin de conservarla en boca para fines masticatorios, fonéticos y estéticos. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The carious process is considered as a problem of oral health, considering that it has a high index of preeminence. Therefore it should be considered that when this lesion is not stopped in time, it may advance and compromise the pulp tissue thus leading to a purulent process, however, caries is not the only reason pulp tissue is affected, But also traumas. Endodontic treatment is indicated in irreversible pulp diseases, therefore, the removal of the infected pulp is the next step to follow, both the coronary portion and the root portion. The importance of pulp treatment is that it allows the rehabilitation of the tooth in order to keep it in the mouth for masticatory, phonetic and aesthetic purposes. | es_ES |
