Resumen
El propósito del presente proyecto trata de diseñar una red VPN, basándose en una
solución Linux para optimizar y brindar una conexión de manera segura a la
información que almacena la Carrera y también de facilitarle al administrador de la
red el acceso previamente autenticando un usuario y contraseña.
Surge la necesidad de ser implementado bajo esta solución Linux, como lo es
OpenVpn, para evitar que la información sea previamente manipulada e incluso sea
modificada por personas ajenas a la institución y que quienes lo realicen no sea para
obtener el plagio de alguna especificación o información tan confidencial como la que
maneja la Carrera.
La ventaja que daría esta solución es la de brindarnos una integridad,
confidencialidad y seguridad de los datos que viajen por la internet. Optimizará a
nivel de costos por el hecho de que no se tiene que dar una actualización sino que
trabaja con una licencia libre. Es una herramienta muy sencilla de usar tan solo hace
la petición de una autenticación para contar con el privilegio de usarla. Esta
alternativa de VPN puede adaptarse al control de acceso que tenga establecida la
carrera y sirva como refuerzo para ella, con el diseño actual con el que cuentan. Los
algoritmos que se utilizarían para la compresión de la información son: optimizar el
tráfico del cliente evitando el alto costo de mantenimiento de computadores con
acceso remoto y las actualizaciones que previamente requiere un software para que
cuente con un buen funcionamiento.
The porpoise of this Project is to try design a VPN net, basing it in a Linux solution to optimize and provide a saver connection to the information that stores the Career and also to facilitate the administrator of the net, the access by authenticating the user name and the password previously. Arise the necessity to be implemented under this Linux solution, like it is OpenVpn, to avoid the previous manipulation of the information and even to be modified by somebody else who is not part of the institution and the ones who realized it, not doing it for obtaining plagiarism from an specification or confidential information that the Career handles. The advantage that this solution will provide us is giving integrity, confidence and security of the information that surf the net. It will optimize the cost because it does not have to be upgraded; it works with a free license. It is an easy tool to use, it just has a petition of authentication in order to have the privilege of using it. This VPN alternative could be adapted to the access control that the career has already established and be used as reinforcement for it, keeping with the actual design they have. The algorithms that will be used for the comprehension of the information are: optimize the client traffic avoiding the high cost of maintenance of computers with remote access and the upgrades that are needed by a software for a good performance.
