This feasibility study aims to improve and optimize the wireless network in certain areas of the University of Specialties Espiritu Santo, both in coverage and in new technologies, so weaknesses must be identified in terms of wireless service in the defined area where the drawback is presented, and thus propose smart wireless technology equipment with simultaneous dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz, as the 2.4Ghz band is overwhelmed by most devices operating in this band.- It must take advantage of the benefits that these technologies and the standard 802.11ac have, this way users can navigate with the higher speeds, better coverage and reliability to provide the university community access to internet optimally and efficiently.- Besides the wireless network traffic can be administered by checking the balance between access points, and moreover allows monitoring, management, configuration and control of access points expediting response time if there is drop communication, all this can be administered centrally and easily for IT staff.- The solution that arises in the current study is a restructuring of equipment designed for mobile and fixed devices with wireless card.
