Resumen
Este trabajo muestra cómo se conforma en los colegios del distrito centro de
la zona 8 donde se imparte la especialización de Turismo y Hotelería, como debería
ser llevado según las regulaciones del Ministerio de Educación y las sugerencias
que podrían incentivar el estudio del turismo desde el colegio en la sección de
bachillerato.
Se sugieren actividades como talleres de prácticas de turismo ya sea
recorridos, elaboración de paquetes, introducción a sistemas de reservas, y más
materias que van a servir para una preparación integral de un profesional en el área
de turismo y hotelería
Otro aspecto que se apreciará será la evolución del turismo como carrera a
través de los años y la gama de oportunidades de desarrollarse en este campo, no
sólo como guías sino también como operadores, recepcionistas, bartenders, entre
otras actividades que se realizan en la actualidad.
