Resumen
El cantón Eloy Alfaro, Durán en los últimos años ha incrementado el número de
visitantes, por factores como la apertura de la reserva ecológica isla Santay, el
ferrocarril, entre otros aspectos que motivaron a realizar el análisis de la oferta
turística del malecón Alfredo Palacios González para proponer un restaurante
temático que haga referencia al año 1900, para satisfacer las necesidades
gastronómicas de las personas que visitan este sector.
Se buscó información en libros referentes a turismo, gastronomía, historia,
restaurantes, entre otros temas que aportaron al desarrollo del proyecto.
Se encuestó al público objetivo que son los habitantes del cantón Durán para
poder conocer sobre sus requerimientos turísticos y gastronómicos, estos datos
fueron procesados y analizados para poder realizar la propuesta de creación de
un restaurante temático referente al año 1900.
