Formación profesional de egresados de la carrera de comunicación social de la Universidad de Guayaquil y desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en el periodismo

Resumen
El propósito del presente trabajo de investigación es diagnosticar la incidencia de la
malla curricular en la formación profesional de los futuros egresados de la carrera de
Comunicación Social, en relación al desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en el
Periodismo, y aportar con la creación de un Diplomado Superior en Periodismo de
Investigación para la Universidad, para así fortalecer esta área dentro de la carrera de
Comunicación. El buen periodismo no puede llevarse a cabo sin investigación personal,
profunda y constante de los hechos. El primer capítulo hace el planteamiento del
problema que motiva este trabajo con todos sus pasos, se plantean los objetivos
generales y específicos, se determina la justificación y la importancia del problema
presentado. En el segundo capítulo se ubica el marco teórico, que servirá de soporte a la
investigación con sus fundamentos teóricos, legales, preguntas directrices,
reconocimiento de las variables con su definición conceptual. El tercer capítulo consta de
la metodología que se utilizó en la investigación, está basada en la recolección directa
de la información mediante encuestas a estudiantes de cuarto año, futuros egresados,
docentes y entrevistas a las autoridades, para lo cual identificamos la población y su
muestra respectiva. El cuarto capítulo consta del análisis e interpretación de resultados.
Los resultados esperados se reflejan en el procesamiento de la información, en base a lo
cual se presenta la alternativa o propuesta de realizar un Diplomado Superior en
Periodismo de Investigación para la Universidad, que sería la beneficiaria directa del
proyecto. El quinto capítulo establece las conclusiones y recomendaciones que
obtuvimos del trabajo de campo realizado a través de las encuestas y entrevistas. La
investigación periodística debe cumplir la función de colaborar con los ciudadanos a
participar en las decisiones que afectan sus vidas y brindarles de manera clara, oportuna
y objetiva, información de la realidad social que los involucra.
The purpose of this research work is to diagnose the incidence of the curricula in the training of future graduates of the career of Social Communication, in relation to the development of skills investigative journalism, and contribute to the creation of a Diploma Superior in Investigative Journalism for the University, there by strengthening this area within the career of Social Communication, in relation to the development of skills investigative journalism, and contribute to the creation of a Diploma Superior in Investigative Journalism for the University, there by strengthening this area within the career of Communication. The good journalism cannot be carried out without research staff, deep and constant of the facts. The first chapter makes the approach of the problem that motivates this work with all the steps, raised the general and specific objectives, it determines the justification and the importance of the problem presented. In the second chapter is located the theoretical framework, which will serve as research support with its theoretical, legal, questions guidelines, recognition of the variables with its conceptual definition. The third chapter consists of the methodology to be used in the investigation, is based on the collection direct information through surveys to students of fourth year, future graduates, teachers and interviews with the authorities, for which we identified the population and their respective shows. The fourth chapter consists of the analysis and interpretation of results. The expected results are reflected in the processing of information based on which presents the alternative or proposal to conduct a Higher Diploma in Investigative Journalism for the University, which would be the direct beneficiary of the project. The fifth chapter sets the conclusions and recommendations we obtained of the field work done through surveys and interviews. The journalistic investigation must fulfill the role of collaborating with the citizens to participate in decisions affecting their lives and to provide clear, timely and objective information of the social reality that involves.
