Resumen
Unos de los problemas más frecuentes en aquellos pacientes que se realizan
extracciones dentarias es el edentulismo parcial y la utilización de aparatología
fija o removible para ocupar aquellos espacios que han dejado dichas perdidas.
Muy aparte hay una alteración en la articulación temporo mandibular
provocando problemas en la oclusión, fonación y estética en el paciente.
OBJETIVO: Ejecutar el tratamiento con prótesis fija como una alternativa
conservadora en un paciente edentulo parcial devolviendo la salud bucal y
poder restaurar la anatomía, la función y la estética. Utilización de exámenes
complementarios y materiales bio compatibles para el éxito del tratamiento.
CONCLUSION: Las Prótesis fijas o removibles bien planificadas y elaboradas
de manera correcta van a brindar una solución efectiva y altamente estética a
los pacientes edentulos parciales. RECOMENDACIONES: Visita periódica una
vez cada 6 meses o una vez al año para poder evaluar la salud de las encías,
los dientes pilares, los dientes naturales y la salud general de su cavidad bucal.

OBJECTIVE: Execute treatment with fixed prosthesis as a conservative alternative in a partially edentulous patient returning oral health and to restore the anatomy, function and aesthetics. Use of complementary tests and biocompatible materials for successful treatment. CONCLUSIONS: fixed or removable dentures planned and prepared properly will provide effective and highly aesthetic solution to partial edentulous patients. RECOMMENDATIONS: periodic visit once every 6 months or once a year to assess the health of the gums, teeth pillars, natural teeth and general health of your oral cavity.
