Resumen
Esta investigación, fue realizada en una empresa dedicada a la siembra, cosecha, selección y comercialización de hoja de tabaco; el área de estudio es Prensa, donde se realiza la elaboración de pacas de tabaco, en esta actividad, es manipulada la carga de forma manual. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es analizar los riesgos ergonómicos asociados a la manipulación de cargas, movimientos repetitivos y adopción de posturas forzadas que mantienen los trabajadores que elaboran pacas de tabaco y proponer un “Plan de acción para la gestión de los riesgos ergonómicos a los que se encuentran expuestos los trabajadores del área de Prensa, en la CORPORACIÓN AGRÍCOLA SAN JUAN C.A. – PLANTA GUAYAQUIL.”, apoyado de soportes fotográficos y grabaciones de video. El proyecto inicia con un diagnóstico de la situación actual de la actividad. Luego, conociendo las patologías presentadas en los trabajadores que están expuestos al manejo de la carga y la valoración médica, se realizó una descripción de la técnica actual de ésta operación, en las tareas realizadas por los auxiliares de prensa del área, identificando y evaluando el nivel de riesgo, usando métodos ergonómicos para determinar su criticidad y posteriormente desarrollar la técnica apropiada a la actividad. Con este proyecto se pretende reducir los riesgos asociados a la manipulación de pacas de tabaco. La implementación de equipos de trabajo y cambios en el puesto de trabajo en el área de Prensa, llevará a maximizar la eficiencia de la compañía.
This research was conducted in a company dedicated to planting, harvesting, selection and marketing of tobacco leaf; the study area is the Press, where the production of bales of tobacco are made, in this activity, the load is manipulated manually. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the ergonomic hazards associated with the handling of cargo, repetitive movements and awkward postures adopted to keep the workers making bales of tobacco and propose a "Plan of Action for the Management of ergonomic risks that workers are exposed to in the press section in the AGRICULTURAL CORPORATION SAN JUAN CA – GUAYAQUIL PLANT "supported by photographic media and video recordings.. The project begins with a diagnosis of the current state of the activity. Then, knowing the pathologies presented in the workers who are exposed to cargo handling and the medical evaluation, a description of the current technique of this operation, in the tasks performed by the auxiliary press area workers wich carried out by identifying and evaluating the level of risk, using ergonomic methods to determine them critically and subsequently develop the appropriate technique for the activity. This project aims to reduce the risks associated with handling of tobacco bales. The implementation of work teams and changes in the workplace in the area of press, will maximize the efficiency of the company.
