Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general establecer la relación entre la aparición de dolores lumbares con las actividades realizadas en la sección de sellado de la empresa, esto es debido al aumento de afecciones lumbares de conformidad con los datos recopilados de la empresa de acuerdo al historial médico. La metodología a aplicar es el planteamiento de la hipótesis previamente mencionada y, mediante el uso del programa estadístico Minitab 15 determinar de acuerdo al valor P si existe relación entre las variables manipulación de carga y aparición de dolores lumbares. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que existe relación entre la aparición de dolores lumbares y la actividad principal de manipulación de carga, definida por encuestas realizadas a los operadores del área de sellado, el promedio del peso de la carga a manipular y la actividad en sí que realiza el trabajador, evidenciada por el método de Rulas. Debido a la presente investigación se ha podido determinar que existe un problema de riesgo en las actividades realizadas en la empresa, por lo tanto se generó una propuesta de mejora de las condiciones laborales con enfoque en la actividad de manipulación de cargas, cuyo propósito es reducir el número de incidentes por dolores lumbares.
The following investigation has as a general objective to establish the relation between the occurrence of low back pains and the activities that are developed in the sealing area of the company, this is due to the increase of low back discomforts according to the medical record. The methodology to be applied is the establishment of the previously mentioned hypothesis, and through the statistical program Minitab 15 to determine if there is a relation between the variables according to the P value. The results indicate that there is a relation between the occurrence of low back pains and the main activity developed which is the cargo handling, this was determined by surveys performed to the workers in the sealing area, it was also determined by the average load weight to be handled and the activity performed by the worker, which was evidenced by the Rulas method. The following investigation was able to determine the existence of a risk issue in the activities that are developed in the company, therefor a work conditions improvement proposal was generated, with an approach in the load handle activity to reduce the number of low back pain discomforts.
