Resumen
El trabajo de titulación presente es diseñar un modelo de gestión de seguridad y salud
ocupacional básico en la Constructora Schaffry, el mismo está basado en el modelo de
sistema de gestión OHSAS 18001 :2007 el modelo incluye la Poi íticas de Seguridad,
Objetivos y responsabilidades en el área de Seguridad, con la finalidad de prevenir y
reducir los accidentes laborales en las obras que se ejecutan en la ciudad de Guayaquil;
darle mayor prestigio a la empresa y credibilidad ante contratantes y público en general.
En el desarrollo del estudio se realizará una evaluación a la empresa en la actualidad
mediante la metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa para analizar datos relevantes sobre
el por qué ocurren los accidentes laborales analizando la recolección de información
histórica de accidentes y acontecidos, utilizó la investigación de campo donde se
recogieron los datos relevantes mediante entrevistas, encuestas, observación de campo
para establecer patrones de conducta, rendimientos y respuesta inmediata frente a casos
presentados.
Al elaborar y establecer estos documentos serán de gran aporte para lograr que la
empresa obtenga una mejor planeación de sus estrategias y objetivos en el área de
Seguridad y salud laboral ante sus contratantes; una cultura organizacional normalizada
y delineada en el trabajo de obras con cero accidentes, reducción de incidentes y
aumento en la productividad y credibilidad de la Constructora dando una ventaja
competitiva respecto a otros proveedores del sector de la construcción.

In preparing and establishing these documents will be a great contribution to ensure that the company obtains a better planning of its strategies and objectives in the area of Occupational Health and Safety before its contractors; An organizational culture standardized and delineated in the work of works with zero accidents, reduction of incidents and increase in productivity and credibility of the Construction Company giving a competitive advantage over other suppliers in the construction sector.
