LA EDUCACIÓN SEXUAL EN FAMILIAS CON HIJOS ADOLESCENTES DE 14 A 15 AÑOS, QUE ASISTEN A LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA PARTICULAR “CAYETANO TARRUELL, DE LA CIUDAD DE GUAYAQUIL

Resumen
Desde la perspectiva social, se estima que la orientación y educación de la sexualidad provenga de padres a hijos, induciendo cualidades y valores de respeto propio para él/ella y sus semejantes; sin embargo, el silencio de la familia y la creencia de que la experiencia es la mejor maestra para la búsqueda de su propio camino, abre la posibilidad de que exista una mala orientación para sus hijos. El presente trabajo buscó caracterizar los rasgos del aprendizaje sexual, de un grupo de estudiantes y sus familias, con hijos adolescentes entre 14 y 15 años, que asistieron a la Unidad Educativa Particular “Cayetano Tarruell, de la ciudad de Guayaquil” durante el período lectivo 2016-2017. La investigación, análisis de casos psicológicos, fue realizada mediante el desarrollo cualitativo–inductivo, el cual se fundamenta en la recopilación de la información de tipo exploratorio y descriptivo. Para el efecto, se utilizaron instrumentos como: entrevistas a estudiantes y padres representantes, grupos focales y el análisis integrador de cada uno de los casos, con la finalidad de conocer los hechos, procesos, y las características de las familias de los adolescentes objeto de estudio. Se concluyó que no importa cuán preparados académicamente estén los padres, existe falta de comunicación en temas sobre sexualidad, por lo que se presentan algunas recomendaciones para mejorar la comunicación entre padres e hijos en el tema sobre la educación de la sexualidad en los adolescentes.

The present work sought to characterize the features of sexual learning, of a group of students and their families, with adolescent children between 14 and 15 years old, who attended the Particular Educational Unit "Cayetano Tarruell, of the city of Guayaquil" during the school term 2016-2017. The investigation, analysis of psychological cases, was carried out through the qualitative-inductive development, which is based on the collection of information of exploratory and descriptive type. For this purpose, instruments were used, such as: interviews with students and parent representatives, focus groups and the integrative analysis of each of the cases, with the purpose of knowing the facts, processes, and characteristics of the families of the adolescents targeted. study. It was concluded that no matter how academically prepared parents are, there is a lack of communication on sexuality issues, which is why some recommendations are presented to improve communication between parents and children in the topic of adolescent sexuality education.
