Resumen
Tratar restauraciones en piezas dentarias del sector anterior, involucra
emplear los mejores recursos (técnicas y materiales) que permitan
devolver a estas piezas su forma anatómica , textura superficial , estética
y funcionalidad, para lo que se requiere tener en cuenta las referencias
que nos brindan los dientes vecinos, su alineación tridimensional en el
arco dentario, su posición ubicando márgenes gingivales en altura, la
ubicación de los labio respecto a línea de sonrisa , forma del rostro del
paciente sea esta redonda, cuadrangular, triangular; integrando así la
restauración del sector anterior muy importante principalmente por
estética para el paciente .
Considerando también que por ser un sector anterior deben cumplirse a
cabalidad los objetivos de inserción plástica: adherir el material a la
estructura dental con el fin de evitar la filtración marginal, preservar la
vitalidad del diente protegiendo el complejo dentino pulpar y conservando
en la mayor medida posible los tejidos sanos remanentes.
Este trabajo investigativo recopila información importante para las
restauraciones de IV clase, en las que nos es de gran utilidad la
confección de una guía palatina de silicona o llave palatina de silicona que
combinada con la técnica mano alzada nos permite alcanzar
restauraciones estéticas que respetan las condiciones biológicas y que
funcionan integradas al sistema estomatognático. Los resultados que
esperamos con este trabajo de investigación es conocer las ventajas,
desventajas y procedimientos de cada una de las técnicas después de la
comparación entre las técnicas mano alzada y el uso de guía palatina de
silicona, determinar cuál es la técnica que ofrece resultados más
eficientes para el tratamiento de estas restauraciones, además servirá
para que alumnos de pregrado tengan alternativas de diferentes técnicas
en el momento de realizar tratamientos de IV clase en su vida profesional.
