Situacion Nutricional de los Internos rotativos del Hospital Matilde Hidalgo de Procel durante el año 2017-2018

Resumen
Existe un incremento alarmante en el padecimiento de enfermedades crónicas
no transmisibles (obesidad, diabetes mellitus tipo 2, enfermedades cardiovasculares,
hipertensión y algunos tipos de cáncer), que son las principales causas de morbimortalidad
y de discapacidad entre la población, tanto en países desarrollados como
en vías de desarrollo. Convirtiéndose, en una carga extra para el presupuesto sanitario
del país y supone una reducción de la esperanza y calidad de vida de las poblaciones.
Esto se debe a diferentes factores de riesgo como la predisposición genética y los
factores ambientales (nutrición, inactividad física, tabaquismo, alcoholismo,
exposición a ciertos tóxicos del ambiente, etc.). Dentro de los factores ambientales, la
nutrición es uno de los más importantes. Que no debe ser descuidada en ninguna
etapa de la vida, por ser un detonante para dar origen a las enfermedades, además
deben ser acompañados de otras conductas positivas como la actividad física. Estos
son preestablecidos por las costumbres y el estilo de vida de sus hogares y del
contexto. Este trabajo se estableció como objetivo determinar la influencia de los
hábitos alimentarios mediante un diagnóstico exhaustivo con la finalidad de que se
mejore el estado nutricional de los internos rotativos del hospital “Matilde Hidalgo de
Procel” durante el año 2017 – 2018 aportando a una óptima calidad de vida, siendo la
población los 280 internos rotativos, trabajando con una muestra de 150 de los que
asistieron al Hospital en mención.
An alarming increase exists in the suffering of chronic not transmissible diseases (obesity, diabetes mellitus type 2, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and some types of cancer), that are the principal reasons of morbi-mortality and of disability between the population, so much in countries developed like in routes of development. Turning, in a load extra for the sanitary budget of the country and he supposes a reduction of the hope and quality of life of the populations. This owes to different factors of risk as the genetic predisposition and the environmental factors (nutrition, physical stagnation, smoking, alcoholism, exhibition to certain toxins of the environment, etc.). Inside the environmental factors, the nutrition is one of the most important. That must not be been careless in any stage of the life, for being the explosive one to give origin to the diseases, in addition they must be accompanied of other positive conducts as the physical activity. These are pre-established for the customs and the way of life of his homes and of the context. His work was established as aim to determine the influence of the food habits by means of an exhaustive diagnosis with the purpose of which there is improved the nutritional condition of the rotary boarders of the hospital "Matilde Hidalgo de Procel" during the year 2017 - 2018 reaching to an ideal quality of life, being the population 280 rotary boarders, working with a sample of 150 of those who were present at the Hospital in mention.
