Resumen
Determinar la prevalencia de histoplasmosis en pacientes VIH con diagnostico
confirmado por punción aspirativa de medula ósea en el hospital de Infectología Dr. José
Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña periodo 2015 – 2016. Esta es una investigación cualitativa
de tipo descriptiva. Se encuesto a 100 pacientes para lo cual se empleó encuestas
diseñadas para determinar la prevalencia de histoplasmosis confirmada por punción
aspirativa de medula ósea en los pacientes que participaron de la investigación. Toda la
información obtenida fue procesada en ordenadores computarizados. De los 100
pacientes encuestados, 59 fueron diagnósticos confirmados por punción aspirativa de
medula ósea, fue mayor la prevalencia en pacientes masculinos, entre las edades de 16
a 45 años.
