Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación tiene como finalidad determinar cuál es la mejor
infraestructura de TI que debe aplicarse en el centro de cómputo de la compañía Impotecno,
realizando un análisis comparativo de las tecnologías existentes en el mercado que han sido
aplicadas a las organizaciones y los beneficios que han experimentado a nivel de seguridad
de su información, mejora de sus procesos operacionales, y reducción de sus costos de TI.
Se realizará el levantamiento de información de la infraestructura de TI tradicional del centro
de cómputo de la compañía Impotecno, determinando así cuales son los problemas que
afectan a la organización, evaluando el rendimiento de los servidores, las aplicaciones que
se encuentran alojados en ellos, con el uso de la herramienta Capacity Planner se evalúa la
infraestructura de TI tradicional, así determinar si la migración a una infraestructura
virtualizada se realizó de una forma correcta.
Para obtener los datos se emplearán las técnicas de observación directa, análisis de
documentos y entrevistas, la investigación es de tipo descriptiva y comparativa.
La metodología empleada en esta investigación es la metodología de Unicef de Estudios de
caso comparativo debido que es la adecuada para realizar el análisis comparativo de
infraestructuras de TI en la compañía Impotecno S.A.
