Factores de riesgo en la enfermedad cerebro vascular en adultos mayores del Hospital Abel Gilbert Pontón entre 2016 - 2017

Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como interrogante el conocimiento de Factores de Riesgo que intervienen en la aparición de la enfermedad cerebro vascular en pacientes con antecedente de hipertensión arterial, Diabetes, Dislipidemia, Enfermedades cardiovasculares y el consumo de tabaco; esto parte desde la práctica diaria en hospitales y centros de atención primaria en donde se reciben pacientes con estos antecedentes, al igual pacientes que presenten secuelas neurológicas a causa de un Accidente Cerebro Vascular producido por la falta de tratamiento de su enfermedad de base. El enfoque del trabajo realizado fue cuantitativo, descriptivo , se obtuvo la información a partir de las historias clínicas de 120 pacientes entre el periodo 2016 - 2017, con diagnóstico de enfermedad cerebro vascular, encontrándose que el ACV es más frecuente en pacientes mayores de 65 años del género masculino, la mayoría de los pacientes presentaron sintomatología neurológica, de los cuales hubo un gran porcentaje que presento antecedente de Dislipidemia y se encontró también que la mitad de los pacientes presentaron infecciones concomitantes que empeoraron el pronóstico.
The present research work has as a question the knowledge of Risk Factors involved in the appearance of cerebrovascular disease in patients with a history of arterial hypertension, Diabetes, Dyslipidemia, Cardiovascular Diseases and the consumption of tobacco; This starts from the daily practice in hospitals and primary care centers where patients with this background are received, as well as patients with neurological sequelae due to a Vascular Brain Accident caused by the lack of treatment of their underlying disease. The focus of the work was quantitative, descriptive, information was obtained from the medical records of 120 patients between the period 2016 - 2017, with a diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease, finding that stroke is more frequent in patients older than 65 years Of the male gender, the majority of patients presented neurological symptoms, of which there was a large percentage that presented a history of dyslipidemia and it was also found that half of the patients had concomitant infections that worsened the prognosis.
