Resumen
La incontinencia urinaria es definida como la perdida involuntaria de orina, que
comprende un síntoma o un signo que es diagnosticado por el profesional de salud
en el primer nivel de atención, el objetivo de este estudio es determinar el nivel de la
calidad de vida en mujeres con incontinencia urinaria ,la muestra está conformada
por mujeres de 21- 65 años de edad , es una investigación prospectiva, transversal,
no experimental en la cual se encuestaron 56 pacientes que presentaron
incontinencia urinaria, en el Hospital Matilde Hidalgo de Procel durante el periodo de
estudio, que ejecuten los criterios de exclusión e inclusión y que deseen participar
de esta investigación, pudimos ver que en la edad de 51-60 años representa el
mayor porcentaje y por lo tanto existe mayor riesgo y susceptibilidad de presentar
esta patología, también hubo una relación significativa en cuanto a cirugías
ginecológicas previas, paridad, hábitos como café, tabaco y alcohol, además
concluimos que si existe un deterioro de la calidad de vida de las pacientes tanto en
su ámbito emocional, social, sexual ,en el descanso y podemos prevenirlo
realizando los ejercicios de kegel.

Urinary incontinence is defined as the involuntary loss of urine, comprising a symptom or a sign that is diagnosed by the health professional at the first level of care, the objective of this study is to determine the level of quality of life in women With urinary incontinence, the sample is made up of women aged 21-65 years. It is a prospective, cross-sectional, non-experimental study in which 56 patients who presented urinary incontinence were surveyed in the Matilde Hidalgo Hospital in Procel during the period of study, that execute the exclusion and inclusion criteria and that wish to participate in this research, we could see that at the age of 51-60 years it represents the highest percentage and therefore there is a greater risk and susceptibility to present this pathology, there was also a significant relationship in terms of previous gynecological surgeries, parity, habits such as coffee, tobacco and alcohol, also concluded We believe that there is a deterioration in the quality of life of patients in their emotional, social, sexual, resting areas and we can prevent them by performing kegel exercises.
