Resumen
La bronquiolitis es una enfermedad aguda del tracto respiratorio, de causa viral y estacional que afecta preferentemente a menores de 2 años. Se caracteriza por un prodromo de una infección respiratoria alta seguida de tos, dificultad respiratoria, intolerancia oral y al examen físico por crepitaciones y/o sibilancias espiratorias con un patrón radiológico de hiperinsuflación. El Objetivo general del presente trabajo es Determinar las complicaciones de los pacientes menores de 2 años con bronquiolitis en el hospital León Becerra Camacho de la cuidad de Milagro. El universo lo constituirá el total de los pacientes ingresados en el hospital Leon Becerra Camacho. La población será todos los pacientes pediátricos que ingresan con diagnóstico de bronquiolitis,del periodo 2014-2015.
Nos revela que hay un total de 105 casos de Bronquiolitis en menores de 2 años en el Hospital Leon Becerra de la cuidad de Milagro durante el periodo 2016. Según el estudio realizado en la investigación prevalencia de bronquiolitis en menores de 2 años fue de mayor incidencia en el mes de mayo con un 12% seguida del mes de julio con un 11 % posterior el mes agosto con un 10% seguida de enero, febrero y septiembre con un 8% , mes de junio con un 7%, luego diciembre y marzo con un 6% abril octubre y noviembre con un 5% luego septiembre y octubre con un 6% de ahí diciembre con un 4% y por ultimo el mes de noviembre con un 2%

Bronchiolitis is an acute illness of the respiratory tract, of viral and seasonal cause that affects preferably under 2 years. It is characterized by a prodrome of a high respiratory infection followed by cough, respiratory distress, oral intolerance and physical examination by crackles and / or wheezing with a radiological pattern of hyperinflation. The objective of the present study is to determine the complications of patients younger than 2 years with bronchiolitis at the León Becerra Camacho Hospital in the city of Milagro. It reveals that there are a total of 105 cases of Bronchiolitis in children under 2 years in the Hospital Leon Becerra of the city of Milagro during the period 2016. According to the study conducted in the research prevalence of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years was of higher incidence In the month of May with 12% followed by the month of July with 11% later the month of August with 10% followed by January, February and September with 8%, June with 7%, then December and March With 6% April October and November with 5% then September and October with 6% from there December with 4% and finally the month of November with a 2%.
