Resumen
Los asentamientos humanos informales surgieron de la realidad– urbana latinoamericana, signada por la pobreza del hábitat y de sus habitantes. A partir de los años 80 la ciudad de Guayaquil sufrió
un acelerado crecimiento poblacional, causado por la migración de campo a la ciudad de Guayaquil, al no poder contar con una vivienda digna por la falta de recursos empezaron a desplegarse a la periferia de Guayaquil donde surgieron los primeros asentamientos del norte
como paraíso de la flor, flor de bastión, entre otros. En el año 2000 surgió el asentamiento
informal más grande de la Ciudad y del País ,este crecimiento se ha realizado con base en procesos
de ocupación y apropiación ilegal de tierras agrícolas, periféricas o urbanas, públicas o privadas,
por parte de grupos sociales pobres, provenientes del campo unos, otros con experiencia de vida
urbana, a fin de conformar asentamientos donde puedan cristalizar su sueño de la casa propia, con
el apoyo de promotores inmobiliarios informales y de mafias de traficantes de tierras. Se observa este tipo de hábitat al analizar diferentes fuentes, con el propósito de explicar mediante un estudio
participativo y de campo los diferentes modos de intervenir.
Informal human settlements arose from the Latin-American urban reality, marked by the poverty of the habitat and its inhabitants. From the 80s the city of Guayaquil suffered an accelerated population growth, caused by the migration of field to the city of Guayaquil, not being able to count on a decent housing due to the lack of resources began to be deployed to the periphery of Guayaquil where the first settlements of the north arose like paradise of the flower, flower of bastion, among others. In 2000, the largest informal settlement of the City and Country arose, this growth has been based on processes of occupation and illegal appropriation of agricultural, peripheral or urban land, public or private, by poor social groups, from the countryside, others with experience of urban life, in order to form settlements where they can crystallize their dream of their own home, with the support of informal property developers and mafias of land dealers.
