Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “ESTUDIO FARMACOGNÓSTICO Y FITOQUÍMICO, PRELIMINAR DEL RIZOMA DE LA ZARZAPARRILLA (Smilax china)”, tuvo como objetivo la identificación de compuestos activos presentes en el rizoma de la Smilax china cultivadas en El Coca vía Loreto, provincia de Orellana. Se llevó a cabo con el lavado, secado y la posterior pulverización del rizoma de la planta; se usaron métodos de percepción y características organolépticas del rizoma, posteriormente se realizaron estudios farmacognósticos para lo cual se llevaron a cabo diferentes análisis para la determinación del contenido de humedad y cenizas totales. En el respectivo tamizaje fitoquímico se determinó cualitativamente la presencia de saponinas y flavonoides entre otros metabolitos por duplicado, se realizó el método soxhlet para cuantificar ácidos grasos, la cromatografía de gases – masa y la cromatografía líquida
The present research work entitled "PHARMACOGNOSIS AND PHYTOCHEMICAL STUDY, PRELIMINARY OF THE RIZOMA OF ZARZAPARRILLA (Smilax china)", aimed at the identification of active compounds present in the rhizome of the Chinese Smilax cultivated in El Coca via Loreto, province of Orellana. In the respective phytochemical screening, the presence of saponins and flavonoids was determined qualitatively in duplicate, the soxhlet method was used to quantify fatty acids and gas chromatography
